Ephesians 4:17-19

17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.

Sexual acting out creates a continual lust for more, so not only is the immorality of the acts a sin, but the spiral of mental and physical bondage that follows is one of incomprehensible strength.  There are so many aspects to this issue most of which are addressed in this passage.  I find it very important to read on verses such as this and refresh my thought on how dangerous and enticing this sin can be.  I have to safeguard my thought and actions in order to resist such devious situations.  We are all capable of falling victim to the temptation and allure that such sexual acts present.  I have to remain adamant in my fight for purity and focus my attention on a higher calling.
