Romans 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The gift of Christ Jesus, sent to forgive me of my sins.  He cleanses me of my transgressions and renews my life giving me opportunity to walk in the Lords light.  I escape from death by denying sin; a death of a life without God.  Sin takes on so many forms and the fight against it right now seems extensive.  While I have eliminated one aspect of sin, there are still others that need to be addressed.  This emerging of sense and awareness is progress and will allow me to look critically at my actions.  I must continue to take on my areas of failing and work to honor God’s word.
