Psalm 17:6

6  I call on you, O God, for you will answer me;
give ear to me and hear my prayer.

Dear Lord, thank you for this day; an opportunity to serve you, a chance to walk in purity with my hand in yours.  Thank you Lord for giving me another chance, for reaching out to me and pulling me from the depths of sin.  Lord I know that I am meant for something great, and when the time is right I will know what to do.  You have given me a new beginning, another start, and a new day and it is my promise to praise your name.

Lord, you have washed away the shame, you have cleansed me of the sin; it is my devotion to offer up days of purity to you.  It is my offering to rejoice in my freedom, the freedom You have given.  Lord I want to please you, I want to stand in righteousness and come into your presence with a loving heart, a pure body, and a clean mind.  Thank you for Your son, who has given me that opportunity.

I pray Lord, that for those struggling with sexual addiction, that You reach out to them.  That You show them the everlasting grace and power that only You posses.  Lord, pull them from the ashes, wash them clean, show them the greatness of Your love.  Give them the ambition to fight temptation, and the splendor of purity.  Lord we are Your children, and I rejoice at being under Your authority.
